Flyers Vs Stars Game Preview; Lineups, Highlights, Key Players, How To Watch

The Philadelphia Flyers have now dropped 4 straight games. It seems like the Flyers are making a thing out of coming from behind late in games. Flyers have been trailing by 2 or more going into the 3rd period in the last 3 games. In back-to-back games the Flyers have been shutout till the 3rd period.

The orange and black now face a tough Dallas Stars team who sit first in the Western Conference and have punched their ticket to the Playoffs. This is the second and last meeting between these two teams this season. The Stars won the first matchup 5-1 in November.

The two teams have played 157 games against each other all time, the Flyers have the upper hand with a 76-48-32-1 record. But the Stars currently have a 5 game winning streak over the Flyers. The Flyers last win against the Stars was on January 10, 2019 at home with a score of 2-1. It’s been even longer since the Flyers have beat the Stars on the road, going back all the way to October 18, 2014. That’s almost 9 years…

Ronnie Attard will stay up with the team for tonight’s game. Samuel Ersson has been sent back down to the Phantoms. As Hart is ready to go and will start tonight.

Carter Hart was on a hot streak before his injury. In 4 games Hart was 4-0-0, 2.20 goals-against average, .933 save percentage.

John Tortorella will be back behind the bench for the Flyers tonight. Flyers assistant coach Rocky Thompson said it looked like some guys in the room “don’t even care” and “just not trying” after Tuesday’s loss in St. Louis. Which is weird because a lot of the players say they want to play and be apart of this team.
