1/14 vs MIN The Flyers offense finally breaks through as Nolan Patrick registered two goals and 4 points, and JVR scored a hat trick to secure a 7-4 victory.
1/16 vs BOS The Flyers kept their momentum going from the previous game against the Wild as they beat the Bruins 4-3 in a strong effort. Sean Couturier scored his first regular season hat trick and Hart made 39 saves to secure the victory.
1/19 vs MTL Even though they were slow out of the gate, the Flyers powered through and pulled out a 5-2 as Nolan Patrick and JVR stayed hot to give the Flyers their third straight win.

Oh Thursday, the Flyers traded forward Taylor Leier to Buffalo for forward Justin Bailey.
The Flyers recorded their first back-to-back hat tricks for the eighth time in history and the first time since October 12-15 2002 when John LeClair and Mark Recchi scored.

Studs
Sean Couturier– Couturier is finally finding his offensive stride as he rides a five-game scoring streak with four goals and nine points.
Carter Hart– Hart continues his strong overall play including a solid win against the Bruins as he finally found himself back in the win column with three straight.
James Van Riemsdyk– JVR scored a hat trick against the Wild which gave him six goals and eight points through this last five games. before this recent hot stretch, he had six goals and eight assists through his first 27 games of the season.
Nolan Patrick– There are finally signs of life on the Nolan Patrick front as he now has four goals and two assists in his last three games. After a season of lackluster play and production, it is nice to see him get some confidence.
Duds
Jori Lehtera– He was booted from the Bruins game after boarding Ryan Donato and is still somehow on the roster even with his drug allegations. mind-boggling.
Dale Weise– After going unclaimed on waivers on Tuesday, Weise was scratched and left in Philadelphia during their trip to Montreal. Weise hasn’t been good as a Flyer and things are getting ugly as his tenure comes to an end.
