2/2 vs Oilers    This game certainly didn’t go as planned, but the Flyers were able to pull out a 5-4 OT victory. JVR had a beautiful set up for Nolan Patrick’s game winner. Carter Hart won his sixth straight game.

AROUND THE NHL

STUDS & DUDS

STUDS

Claude Giroux– The Captain picked up right where he left off after the all-star break by scoring two goals and two assists to help the Flyers keep their win steak alive.

Carter Hart– Might as well make a permanent home on this list for Hart. The young gun continues to dominate the NHL and he is easily the best player on the Flyers roster right now.

Scott Laughton– Even though he isn’t scoring, he is playing really solid hockey right now, he was one of the best Flyers on the ice during the teams win over Edmonton.

Oskar Lindblom– After a strong start to the season, Lindblom went cold for much of the past few months. Lindblom now has three goals and three assists in his last four games.

DUDS

Mikhail Vorobyev– Even though it’s been just four games since his call up, he already got his ice time cut to just 2:50 against the Oilers.

Phil Varone– Eh, he just kinda exists at the moment.

Andrew MacDonald– have you seen the clip of Andrew MacDonald getting turned inside out by Connor McDavid?
