STUDS & DUDS
Studs
Shayne Gostisbehere– Ghost has 10 points in his last eight games. and on Saturday broke an 18-game goalless streak. Maybe fans should reconsider their “Trade Ghost” stance.
James Van Riemsdyk– While JVR’s overall play is still wildly inconsistent, he did score two powerplay goals against the Wild to help the Flyers win the game, so at least this week he is a stud.
Duds
Mikhail Vorobyev– He was sent back to the Phantoms after failing during another stint with the Flyers. Don’t really know what to make of Vorobyev, but he needs to figure his game out if he wants a real shot with the Flyers in the future.
Carter Hart– Maybe calling him a dud is too harsh, but posting back-to-back sub-.900 SV% games is very un-Carter Hart like.
BEST PLAYER OF ALL TIME OF THE WEEK
SAMUEL MORIN TRACKER
Morin was sent to the Phantoms early this week and suited up for his first game in over nine months in the Phantoms win over the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Friday. He is scheduled to return to the Phantoms lineup on Sunday.
