Andrew MacDonald was the Hero We Needed, and We Were Too Blind to See It

We all owe Andrew MacDonald an apology. Although he wasn’t an offensive dynamo, he was defensively sound and one of the best leaders this team ever had. Going back to June 15, 2019 is heart breaking. The cornerstone of our defense was confusingly placed on unconditional waivers with the intention of buying him out. $5 million a year was not even close to the value that he brought to the ice and to the locker room. Can you even believe that he was sent down to the AHL? It still boggles my mind how lucky we were that he cleared waivers (Thank you almighty Zeus!!). I wanna show the best of Andrew MacDonald in the video below.

Oh my, I get goosebumps every time I watch it. Also, special shoutout to the best Flyers coach ever, Dave Hakstol (December 17, 2018 is one of the worst days in Flyers history RIP Dave’s best gig ever). Also, let’s acknowledge how great leader when the Flyers did the right thing and gave him an “A” on October 3, 2017. Really capped off his whole career with the Flyers.

In conclusion, Andrew MacDonald was a saint, speaking of that, when you search “Saint Andrew” on google he doesn’t show up, some guy who was an apostle of Jesus. Back on track, Andrew MacDonald is thee best defenseman to ever don the Orange and Black™© (had to be sure it was protected) and taught Ivan Provorov everything he knew so 9 could be the 2nd best to ever wear the Flyin’ P™©. That trio of Ron Hextall, Dave Hakstol, and Andrew MacDonald was the best ever, and how that fire power never made it out of the 1st round is a scam that shows that the league hates Andrew and that he didn’t have the talent around him to do anything. I am waiting for my tickets to the game where 47 is raised to the rafters in Wells Fargo Center.

Also, Happy April Fools everyone. Have a great day.
