The Phantoms have played three games since our last installment of the Prospect Stock Report, first, a 9-2 drubbing of the Bridgeport Islanders before the All-Star break, then they returned for a 3-2 shootout victory over the Cleveland Monsters on Friday then took a 4-2 loss to the Hartford Wolf Pack on Saturday.
They’re now 22-18-5-1 on the season, which is currently fifth in the Atlantic Division.

Zayde Wisdom
Wisdom recorded a hat trick on the 29th, the first three-goal game of his professional career. Wisdom has been having a great season with an uptick in ice time and he finally made it count in a big way. He’s still been a inconsistent with finding the scoresheet, but he’s playing the best hockey he has in years. What does it mean for his status as a prospect? TBD.
Massimo Rizzo
Rizzo had two goals and two assists in the last three games. He was on a small skid before the all-star break, but is once again back on the score sheet. More than just the scoring, it sure feels like he’s been far more noticeable and active in the offensive zone as a whole. As one of the very few centers in the entire organization, how he handles himself during the last couple months of his rookie season could go a long way to getting a sneak peak to the NHL earlier than expected.
Samu Tuomaala
Tuomaala scored two goals against the Islanders, snapping a 21-game, two month long goalless drought, and added as assist and the shootout-winning goal on Friday. He leads the Phantoms with 30 points in 41 games (still largely in part to his absolutely fantastic October and November) but he does has five points in his last six games, so maybe Tuomaala’s fortunes are about to turn.
Parker Gahagen
Gahagen may not really be a classic “prospect” but it’s the second season in a row that he, far and away, leads the Phantoms in goaltending stats. Better than $5 million man Cal Petersen and better than top prospect Aleksei Kolosov. He’s got a 2.50 GAA and .908 SV% along with a 7-1-1-1 record. With Petersen hurt and Kolosov in the NHL again for some reason, Gahagen could quite literally save the Phantoms’ season.
Sideways Trending
Jacob Gaucher
Gaucher posted three points in two games in his last two games. He also got called up to the NHL for his first taste of the show. Unsurprisingly, he isn’t playing a big role on Tortorella’s team, but after signing an ELC back in December and being one of the only few centers in the organization, his hard work has paid off. Depending on how the Flyers handle the trade deadline, he could very well time in the NHL for a decent portion of the rest of the season.
Olle Lycksell
Lycksell scored a goal on Friday. The 2025 All-Star is up to 13 goals and 28 points in 30 games on the season and 112 points in 121 games with the Phantoms. He wasn’t in the lineup during the Phantoms’ 9-2 win over Bridgeport to boost his stats further, but Lycksell remains the Phantoms’ top forward by leaps and bounds.
Alexis Gendron
Gendron has two goals in his last three games. Don’t look now, but Gendron is tied for second on the team in goals with 13, and is fourth on the team in points with 20. His production has been slightly inconsistent, but that may just be chalked up to the overall offense not quite being up to snuff this season. His raw skill is tantalizing and if the organization makes some tweaks to the product over the offseason (plus the projected arrival of guys like Denver Barkey) Gendron may reach “top prospect” status sooner rather than later.
Hunter McDonald
McDonald had an assist, a +4 rating and zero penalty minutes in the last three games. He was also standing out in a good way on home ice over the weekend. His overall mystique has faded a bit as he continues to navigate the ebbs and flows of his rookie season, but when he’s riding the highs, he shows he has the tools to be a serviceable defenseman. It’s about whether or not he can put all the pieces together at the same time and truly establish himself among a very crowded Flyers’ organizational blue line.

Elliot Desnoyers
Desnoyers is pointless in his last six appearances and was a healthy scratch on Friday. It seemed as though he was turning things around in the first half of January, but he’s once again drifted back into the shadows as a random depth piece.
J.R. Avon
Avon scored in the shootout on Friday, then was promptly scratched Saturday and really hasn’t done much of note in all of 2025 thus far. His under-the-radar strong play last season hasn’t really carried over during his sophomore campaign.
