After the delay in clearing the ice, Windsor would double the lead to 2-0 only 13 seconds later as Max Brocklehurst scored his 2nd of the season. Guelph would get on the board, but a shorthanded goal from Jean-Christophe Lemieux (his 9th) and Cole Davis’ 10th were only 59 seconds apart as the Spitfires took a 4-1 lead. In the third period, the Steelheads continued to use physical play to stymie and frustrate the Bulldogs. Luchanko was on the delivering end of a few big hits and also received a few as the Steelheads gave him lots of attention in his debut game.
