- (Dec. 3) The Red Deer Rebels opened the month of December by visiting the Lethbridge Hurricanes. In the first period, the Hurricanes took an early 1-0 lead but the Rebels turned the tide with goals by Kohen Lodge (his 1st at 7:00), Matej Mikes (his 1st at 13:03), and Owen Shadrick (his 3rd at 19:14) to take a 3-1 lead. In the second period, Red Deer would make it 4-1 with a powerplay goal courtesy of Samuel Drancak for his 11th of the season at 4:29. In the third period, Red Deer would close out the game as Shadrick would notch his second goal of the game at 4:36 and Red Deer would defeat Lethbridge by a 5-1 score. Matthew Gard finished the game with no points, an even rating, 2 SOG, and was 1 of 4 on faceoffs. Luke Vlooswyk ended the game with no points, an even rating, and 2 SOG.
- (Dec. 5) The road trip through Alberta continued as the Red Deer Rebels visited the Edmonton Oil Kings. In the first period, the home Oil Kings would score the only goal of the period despite being outshot 10-8 to take a 1-0 lead. In the second period, Talon Brigley would score a shorthanded goal for his 10th of the season at 14:52 to tie the game, but Edmonton would respond to retake the lead only 35 seconds later to make it 2-1. In the third period, the Oil Kings would add an insurance goal and add an empty-netter as Edmonton defeated Red Deer 4-1. Luke Vlooswyk finished the game with no points, a +1 rating, and 4 SOG. Matthew Gard ended the game with no points, an even rating, 1 SOG, 2 PIMs, and was 6/15 on draws.
- (Dec. 6) The Red Deer Rebels returned home as they took on the Prince Albert Raiders. The Raiders opened the scoring but the Rebels scored twice through Landon MacSwain (his 8th at 10:25) and Nate Yellowaga (his 2nd at 13:36) on a great individual effort to take a 2-1 lead into the intermission. Unfortunately for the Rebels the game would turn heavily in Prince Albert’s favor as they would score five consecutive goals in the second and third periods to take a 6-2 lead. Matej Mikes would score his 2nd of the season on the powerplay to make it goals in consecutive games at 12:03, but the Raiders would add an empty net goal to soundly defeat the Rebels 7-3. Luke Vlooswyk finished the game with 1 assist, a -1 rating, 0 SOG, and 2 PIMs. Matthew Gard ended the game with no points, a -1 rating, 1 SOG, and was 6 of 11 on faceoffs.

- (Dec. 12) Losers of two in a row, the Red Deer Rebels visited Calgary as they took on the Hitmen. In the first period, the Hitmen absolutely dominated the period by outshooting the Rebels 20-6 and taking a 1-0 lead very late in the frame. In the second period, Noah Milford would tie the game 1-1 with his 4th of the season at 17:49 to even things up for Red Deer. In the third period, the shots would be 9-9 but it was Calgary that capitalized on their opportunities as they started the scoring only 14 seconds in and scored three goals in the frame as the Hitmen would hand the Rebels their third straight defeat by a score of 4-1. Matthew Gard finished the game with no points, a -1 rating, 1 SOG, 2 PIMs, and was 5 of 19 on draws. Luke Vlooswyk ended up with no points, a -1 rating, and 1 SOG.
- (Dec. 13) The Red Deer Rebels once again took on the Calgary Hitmen in the Saddledome for the second consecutive game. This game would be a disaster for the Rebels as the Hitmen dominated the scoreboard despite the shots on goal being relatively close in the contest overall. Calgary would score three goals in the opening period (two on the powerplay) with Matthew Gard in the penalty box to take a 3-0 lead. Calgary would only score once in the second period, but would score five in the third period including two powerplay goals (one with Luke Vlooswyk in the sin bin) as the Hitman dismantled the undisciplined Red Deer Rebels 9-0. Hitmen goaltender Eric Tu stopped all 26 shots he faced to earn the shutout victory as the Rebels lost their fourth game in a row. Gard finished the game with no points, a -1 rating, 3 SOG, 12 PIMs, and was 12 of 18 on faceoffs. Vlooswyk ended up with no points, an even rating, 1 SOG, and 2 PIMs.
- (Dec. 16) The Red Deer Rebels returned home as they faced the visiting Brandon Wheat Kings. After a powerplay goal midway through the opening period gave the Wheat Kings the lead, Ty Coupland would score his 8th of the season at 17:58 to tie the game 1-1. In the second period, Brandon would retake the lead late in the period to make it 2-1. In the third period, the Rebels would outshoot the Wheat Kings 7-4 but neither side would score in the final frame as the Red Deer Rebels lost their fifth straight game by dropping a 2-1 decision to the Brandon Wheat Kings. Matthew Gard finished the game with no points, a +1 rating, 2 SOG, 2 PIMs, and was 16 of 23 on draws. Luke Vlooswyk ended up with no points, an even rating, 1 SOG, and 6 PIMs (Delay of Game, Roughing, and Unsportsmanlike minors).

- (Dec. 5) The Quebec Remparts visited the Chicoutimi Sagueneens. The Sagueneens would dominate the game in shots on goal in every period as they went on to outshoot the Remparts 44-18. In the opening period, Chicoutimi would take a 1-0 lead into the break with a powerplay goal at 18:12. In the second period, the Sagueneens would strike twice to open up a 3-0 lead until Charlie Morrison scored his 2nd of the season in the final second to make it 3-1. In the third period, Chicoutimi would add another powerplay goal for some insurance as the Sagueneens defeated the Remparts 4-1. Nathan Quinn finished the game with no points, a +1 rating, 2 SOG, and was 5/11 on faceoffs.
- (Dec. 13) The Quebec Remparts returned home as they welcomed the visiting Saint John SeaDogs for the Teddy Toss game. In the opening period, Cal Uens scored his 7th of the season at 15:20 (assisted by Nathan Quinn) off some good pressure in the offensive zone to force a turnover to make it 1-0 and unleash the teddy bears. In the second period, Saint John would tie the game only 33 seconds in but Quebec would get three goals from Logan Brennan (his 2nd at 4:37), Xavier Lebel (his 7th at 6:24), and Ryan Howard (his 5th at 19:18) to make it 4-1 after forty minutes. In the third period, Nathan Quinn would tip in his 11th of the season on the powerplay at 11:31 as the Quebec Remparts cruised to a 5-1 victory over the Saint John SeaDogs. Quinn finished the game with 1 goal and 1 assist for 2 points, a +1 rating, 4 SOG, and was 7 of 12 on faceoffs. Quinn was named the Second Star of the game.

- (Dec. 14) The Quebec Remparts continued at the Videotron Centre as they hosted the Shawinigan Cataractes. In the first period, Logan Brennan got the home team the 1-0 lead with his 3rd of the season at 11:24. In the second period, Andreas Straka scored his 6th at 16:17 to extend the Remparts lead to 2-0. In the third period, Nathan Quinn burst though the neutral zone to beat a defender on the outside and slid home his 12th of the season at 4:16. The Cataractes would score a consolation goal but it was not enough as Quebec defeated Shawinigan 3-1. Quinn finished the game with 1 goal, an even rating, 4 SOG, and was only 3/10 on draws. Quinn was named the Second Star of the game for the second straight game.

- (Dec. 17) Continuing on their homestand, the Quebec Remparts hosted the Baie-Comeau Drakkar. In the first period neither side would score although the Remparts outshot the Drakkar 11-5. In the second period, Baie-Comeau continued to be outshot but scored twice in the frame to take a 2-0 lead. In the third period, the Remparts finally got on the board at 14:59 with a powerplay goal by Nathan Quinn who ripped home a wrist shot from the slot for his 13th of the season. That was as far as Quebec would get though as the Remparts fell to the Drakkar by a score of 2-1. Quinn finished the game with 1 goal, an even rating, 3 SOG, and was 6 of 14 on faceoffs.

- (Dec. 18) The Quebec Remparts faced the Baie-Comeau Drakkar once again for the second consecutive night at the Videotron Centre prior to winter break. In the first period, Nathan Quinn continued his hot streak as he opened the scoring with his 14th of the season at 3:41. At 17:09, Alex Desruisseaux potted his 5th of the season to extend Quebec’s lead to 2-0. In the second period, Quinn would score his second of the game at 16:57 by tapping a rebound into a yawning cage to make it 3-0. In the third period, the Remparts would also get goals by Cal Uens (his 8th at 1:38) and Nikita Ovcharov (his 10th at 17:42) to go along with Patrick Deniger stopping all 24 shots he faced as the Remparts shutout the Drakkar 5-0. Quinn finished the game with 2 goals and 1 assist for 3 points, a +3 rating, 7 SOG, and was 6/11 on draws. Quinn was named the Second Star of the game.

OHL (Ontario Hockey League)
Jack Nesbitt #71 (C) – Windsor Spitfires (OHL)

- (Dec. 5) The Windsor Spitfires travelled to London to face off against the Knights. In the opening period, the Spitfires would hold the Knights to only 3 shots but neither side could get a goal. In the second period, Jack Nesbitt jammed home a powerplay goal from the top of the crease to give Winsor a 1-0 lead with his 8th of the season at 9:49. Ethan Garden (his 7th at 11:17) and Caden Harvey (his 3rd at 15:39) would extend the Spitfires lead to 3-0 after forty minutes. In the third period, the Knights would cut the deficit with a powerplay goal but AJ Spellacy would score his 9th into an empty net as Windsor would defeat London 4-1 in a rough game filled with penalties and fights. Nesbitt finished the game with 1 goal, an even rating, 4 SOG, 2 PIMs, and was 9/18 on draws. Nesbitt was named the First Star of the game.

- (Dec. 6) The return match between the Windsor Spitfires and the London Knights would switch venues as the Spitfires hosted this one. In the first period, both sides registered ten shots on goal each but the Knights took a 2-0 lead. In the second period, Conor Walton would get Windsor on the board with his 1st of the season at 14:30 to cut the lead to 2-1. In the third period, Jack Nesbitt would tie the game 2-2 with his 9th goal of the season at 12:34. The game would remain tied at the end of regulation and in overtime, the Knights would avenge their loss from a night earlier as Andoni Fimis scored the winner and London defeated Windsor 3-2. Nesbitt finished the game with 1 goal, a -1 rating, 3 SOG, and was 9 of 22 on faceoffs.
- (Dec. 11) The Windsor Spitfires took a trip to the Kawarthas as they visited the Peterborough Petes. In the opening period, Shawn Costello scored his first OHL goal at 5:04 with a nice goal all alone in front. In the second period, the Spitfires would strike three times on the powerplay with goals by Ethan Belchetz (his 18th at 2:52), Anthony Cristoforo (his 5th at 10:25), and Cole Davis (his 12th at 12:18) to take a 4-0 lead. In the third period, the Petes would score twice early on but Cristoforo would score his second goal of the game at 7:16 to make it 5-2. Peterborough would score again 37 seconds later but Liam Greentree would ice the game with his 16th of the season at 8:45 as the Windsor Spitfires would defeat the Peterborough Petes 6-3. Jack Nesbitt finished the game with 1 assist, a +2 rating, 1 SOG, 4 PIMs, and was 19/29 on draws.
- (Dec. 12) The road trip marched on as the Windsor Spitfires visited the Kingston Frontenacs. In the first period the shots would be even at 8 apiece, but despite Beksultan Makysh scoring his 8th of the season at 13:58 it was Kingston that had a 2-1 lead. In the second period, Anthony Cristoforo scored his 7th of the season at 3:54 but the Frontenacs would strike twice again to take a 4-2 lead. In the third period, Ethan Garden scored his 8th of the season at 16:28, but the comeback would fall short as Kingston defeated Windsor 4-3. Jack Nesbitt finished the game with no points, an even rating, 2 SOG, and was 17 of 23 on faceoffs.
- (Dec. 14) The Windsor Spitfires road trip continued as they visited the Ottawa 67s. The Spitfires would take a 1-0 lead as Carson Woodall took a feed from Jack Nesbitt for his 8th goal of the season on the powerplay at 4:34. The 67s would tie the game at 12:45 to make it 1-1 after twenty minutes. In the second period, Ottawa would outshoot Windsor 8-5 and would take a 2-1 lead with a powerplay goal at 7:37. There would be no more scoring the rest of the way as Windsor fell to Ottawa 2-1 in the final game of their road trip. Nesbitt finished the game with 1 assist, an even rating, 2 SOG, 4 PIMs, and was 16 of 29 on faceoffs.
- (Dec. 18) The Windsor Spitfires returned home for their final game before the winter break as they hosted the Soo Greyhounds. In the first period, Jack Nesbitt opened the scoring with his 10th of the season at 17:41 on the backhand to give Windsor a 1-0 lead. In the second period, the Greyhounds would tie the game at 11:24 but Andrew Robinson would score his 2nd of the season at 14:49 to give Windsor a 2-1 lead. In the third period, Anthony Cristoforo would score a hat-trick and Cole Davis would add an empty-netter as the Windsor Spitfires defeated the Soo Greyhounds 6-2. Nesbitt finished the game with 1 goal and 1 assist for 2 points, a +3 rating, 7 SOG, and was 15/21 on draws. Nesbitt was named the Third Star of the game.

Jett Luchanko #17 (C) – Brantford Bulldogs (OHL)

- (Dec. 3) The Brantford Bulldogs would host the visiting Kingston Frontenacs at TD Place. In the first period, the Frontenacs would be outshot 13-3 but scored the only goal of the period 28 seconds in to take a 1-0 lead. In the second period, Marek Vanacker would score his 24th of the season only 1:44 in to tie the game 1-1. Jake O’Brien would score his 11th of the season on the powerplay at 11:59 to give the Bulldogs a deserved 2-1 lead after forty minutes. In the third period, Caleb Malholtra would add some insurance for his 12th of the season at 5:15 to make it 3-1 for the Bulldogs. Kingston would make it interesting by cutting the lead to one, but Cooper Dennis would pot his 14th into an empty net as the Brantford Bulldogs defeated the Kingston Frontenacs 4-2. Jett Luchanko finished the game with 1 assist, an even rating, 1 SOG, and was 8/13 on draws.
- (Dec. 6) The homestand for the Brantford Bulldogs continued as they hosted the North Bay Battalion in the Teddy Toss game. In the opening period, Jett Luchanko would open the scoring and get the bears flying with his 3rd of the season at 6:10 to make it 1-0. Brantford would add two more goals in the frame through Vladimir Dravecky (his 5th at 13:30) and Caleb Malholtra (his 13th at 17:10) to make it 3-0. In the second period, Luchanko would score his second of the game on a penalty shot at 2:32 to make it 4-0. While the Battalion would score twice in the period, the Bulldogs would score three more goals through Adam Benak (his 15th at 5:52), Cooper Dennis (his 15th at 7:07), and Adam Jiricek (his 10th at 11:35) to make it 7-2. Neither side would score in the third period as the North Bay Battalion would fall 7-2 to the Brantford Bulldogs. Luchanko finished the game with 2 goals, a +3 rating, 3 SOG, and was 7/16 on faceoffs. Luchanko was named the First Star of the game.

- (Dec. 11) The Brantford Bulldogs hit the road and visited the Erie Otters. In the first period, the Otters would strike first but Brantford would take a 2-1 lead though Caleb Malholtra (his 14th at 6:25) and Marek Vanacker (his 25th at 8:34). Erie would score again at 11:02 but Parker Holmes’ 2nd of the season at 14:34 would give the Bulldogs a 3-2 lead at the break. In the second period, Vanacker would defect in a shot from Jett Luchanko on the powerplay to extend the Bulldogs lead to 4-2 at 6:38. The Otters would again cut the deficit to 4-3, but a Luca Testa double (his 8th and 9th of the season) and a Ben Danford goal with one second remaining (his 2nd of the season) would make it a 7-3 game. In the third period, Cooper Dennis would score his 16th of the season at 1:24 and while the Otters would score less than a minute later, the Bulldogs would crush the Otters by a score of 8-4. Luchanko finished the game with 3 assists, a +2 rating, 1 SOG, and was 8 of 15 on faceoffs.

- (Dec. 12) The Brantford Bulldogs hosted the London Knights at the TD Civic Centre. In the opening period, the Bulldogs would score a shorthanded goal courtesy of Cooper Dennis (his 18th at 5:31) and would lead 1-0 despite being outshot 12-9. In the second period, London would outshoot Brantford 15-7 but Bulldogs goaltender David Egorov would shut the door to keep the score at 1-0. In the third period, Philip Govedaris would add an insurance goal for his 1st at 13:24 and Egorov would stop all 39 shots he faced as the Brantford Bulldogs shutout the London Knights 2-0. Jett Luchanko did not play as he was attending the Team Canada selection camp for the upcoming World Junior Hockey Championship.
- (Dec. 13) The road trip continued for the Brantford Bulldogs as they visited the Peterborough Petes. In the opening period, Nikolas Rossetto would put the Bulldogs up 1-0 with his 2nd of the season only 1:22 in. The Petes would register 21 shots on goal in the frame and would tie the game 1-1. In the second period, Peterborough scored twice on the powerplay to take a 3-1 lead after forty minutes. In the third, Brantford would tie the game with goals by Caleb Malholtra (his 15th at 3:57) and Cooper Dennis (his 17th at 6:57) to make it 3-3 with over half the period remaining. The Petes would strike at 12:17 and add an empty net goal to hand the Branford Bulldogs a rare regulation loss by a score of 5-3. Jett Luchanko did not play once again.
- (Dec. 19) Still without Jett Luchanko, the Brantford Bulldogs travelled to Kingston to take on the Frontenacs. Caleb Malholtra would score twice for the Bulldogs (his 16th at 1:13 of the first period and his 17th at 16:34 of the second period) but the Frontenacs would be victorious as they defeated Brantford by a score of 4-2.
- (Dec. 20) In their last game before the holiday break, the Brantford Bulldogs visited the Ottawa 67s without Jett Luchanko. The 67s took full advantage of the shorthanded Bulldogs as they outshot Brantford in all three periods (including 17-5 and 14-6 in the final forty minutes) as Ottawa scored four goals in the second period and twice in the third to outlast the Bulldogs. Ryder Fetterolf would stop all 19 shots he faced for the shutout as the 67s defeated the Bulldogs 6-0.
