- (Dec. 27) Losers of five straight, the Red Deer Rebels hosted the Edmonton Oil Kings. In the first period, the Oil Kings would open the scoring at 15:36 with an even strength goal to take a 1-0 lead. After no scoring in the second period, the Rebels would strike twice in under two minutes with goals by Nolan Schmidt (his 1st at 4:33) and Landon MacSwain (his 9th at 6:12) to take a 3-2 lead. The lead was short lived though as Edmonton would tie the game 3-3 1:47 later and end up sending the game into overtime. In the extra frame, the Oil Kings would get the winner from Miroslav Holinka as Edmonton would hand Red Deer their sixth straight defeat 4-2 in overtime. Matthew Gard finished the game with 1 assist, a +1 rating, 0 SOG, and was 13 of 17 on faceoffs. Luke Vlooswyk ended the game with no points, an even rating, and 1 SOG.
- (Dec. 28) The Red Deer Rebels visited the Medicine Hat Tigers looking to break their six-game losing streak. In the opening period, the Tigers opened the scoring with a powerplay goal but Landon MacSwain scored for the second consecutive game (his 10th at 10:54) to tie the game 1-1. In the second period, Red Deer would take a 2-1 through Talon Brigley’s 11th of the season at 3:33 but the Tigers would score three goals in under four minutes to retake a 4-2 lead. The Rebels would pull to within one to make it 4-3 as Matej Mikes scored his 3rd of the season at 13:15, but once again the Tiger would retake the lead with two more goals (five in the frame) to pull ahead 6-3. In the third period, Medicine Hat would add an insurance goal and Paul Andersen would score a consolation goal for the Rebels as they got humbled 7-4 by the Medicine Hat Tigers for their sixth loss in a row. Matthew Gard finished the game with no points, an even rating, 3 SOG, 2 PIMs, and was 2/7 on draws. Luke Vlooswyk ended the game with no points, a +1 rating, 0 SOG, and 2 PIMs.
- (Dec. 30) In their final game of 2025, the Red Deer Rebels once again faced the Medicine Hat Tigers at the Merchant Crane Centrum. The opening period was close in terms of shots but the Tigers would score while shorthanded and add an even strength marker to take a 2-0 lead. The second period was devastating for the Rebels as they allowed 4 goals on 12 shots to trail the game 6-0. Medicine Hat would add some insurance in the final frame with goaltender Jordan Switzer stopping all 23 shots he faced as the Tigers shutout the Rebels and handed them their seventh loss in a row by a score of 8-0. Luke Vlooswyk finished the game with no points, a -2 rating, 0 SOG, and 10 PIMs (Misconduct). Matthew Gard did not dress for the game.
- (Jan. 1) The Red Deer Rebels looked to start 2026 on a winning note without Matthew Gard (did not dress) as they visited the Edmonton Oil Kings. In the first period, Edmonton outshot Red Deer 10-6 and scored on the powerplay and at even strength to take a 2-0 lead. In the second period, the Rebels would only muster 3 shots on goal to counter three goals by Edmonton as the Oil Kings took a commanding 5-0 lead through forty minutes. In the third period, Red Deer would finally get on the board at 14:54 as Owen Shadrick’s 5th of the season ruined the shutout bid but the Rebels lost their eighth straight by a score of 5-1. Luke Vlooswyk finished the game with no points, an even rating, and 1 SOG.
- ***(Jan. 2) The Red Deer Rebels made a slew trades today that sent Matthew Gard to the Seattle Thunderbirds and Luke Vlooswyk to the Everett Silvertips.
- (Jan. 3) The Everett Silvertips hosted the Wenatchee Wild as Luke Vlooswyk made his Silvertips debut. In the opening period, Jesse Heslop’s 8th of the season on the powerplay at 6:52 would give Everett a 1-0 lead. In the second period, the Silvertips would add to their lead with goals by Hunter Rudolph (his 1st at 1:29) and Ryan Gould’s 9th on the powerplay at 14:00 to take a commanding 3-0 lead. In the third, Vlooswyk would get an assist on Rhys Jameson’s 9th at 3:53 and add insurance through Mirco Dufour’s 2nd at 6:07 and Landon DuPont’s 9th at 12:10. Raiden LeGall would stop all 22 shots he faced in the game as the Everett Silvertips shutout Wenatchee 6-0. Vlooswyk finished the game with 1 assist, a +1 rating, and 4 SOG.
- (Jan. 3) The Seattle Thunderbirds visited the Red Deer Rebels. Matthew Gard did not dress in the game. Seattle would open the scoring only 26 seconds into the game through Brock England (his 14th) but the Rebels would strike twice to take a 2-1 lead. In the second period, Brendan Rudolph would tie the game 2-2 with his 9th at 4:07 but Red Deer would score o the powerplay to retake a 3-2 lead. In the third period, Seattle would tie the game early once again through Marcus Laraque (his 2nd at 1:22) but Red Deer would retake the lead once again and add an empty-netter as the Rebels defeated the Thunderbirds 5-3.
- (Jan. 4) The Seattle Thunderbirds road trip continued as they visited the Edmonton Oil Kings. In the opening period, Edmonton would take a 3-1 lead with Seattle’s goal coming by way of Sawyer Mayes’ 8th at 7:21. In the second period, Coster Dunn (his 16th at 7:12) and Antonio Martorana’s 17th on the powerplay at 14:54 would counter an early Oil Kings strike to make it a 4-3 deficit after two periods. Edmonton would add an empty-netter in the third period as the Oil-Kings downed the Thunderbirds 5-3 as Matthew Gard did not dress once again.
- (Jan. 7) Matthew Gard would make his season debut for the Seattle Thunderbirds on the road at the Lethbridge Hurricanes. In the first period, Coster Dunn (his 17th at 0:12) and Brock England (his 15th at 7:37) would pace Seattle to a 2-1 lead. In the second period, the same amount of goals were scored only this time it was the Thunderbirds who had the lone tally through Dunn’s second goal of the game to make the game 4-3. In the third period, Lethbridge tied it up but Gard would get an assist on the go ahead goal by Tai Riley (his 2nd at 16:35) and Seattle would add an empty-netter to defeat the Hurricanes 6-3. Gard finished the game with 1 assist, a +2 rating, 3 SOG, and was 6 of 12 on draws.
- (Jan. 9) The Seattle Thunderbirds continued on the road with a visit to Medicine Hat to face the Tigers. With each side getting 6 shots on goal, it was Seattle that jumped out to a 3-0 lead thanks to goals by Vanek Popil (his 2nd at 2:43), Cameron Schmidt (his 29th at 3:07), and Joe Gramer (his 1st at 13:57). The second period saw the script reversed as the Tigers scored three powerplay goals including one on a penalty shot to tie the game 3-3. In the third period, Medicine Hat would take the lead and not look back as they pounded five goals n the frame and convincingly defeated Seattle 8-3. Matthew Gard finished the game with no points, a even rating, 1 SOG, and was 13 of 22 on faceoffs.
- (Jan. 10) The Everett Silvertips hit the road as they visited the Prince George Cougars. In the first period, Everett would outshoot Prince George 15-11 but would trail 1-0. In the second period, Carter Bear would assist on Ryan Gould’s powerplay goal (his 10th at 6:31) and score his 14th at 17:17 to give the Silvertips a 2-1 lead. In the third period, Everett would not look back as Kayd Ruedig would add an insurance goal (his 11th at 4:21) and add a Zachary Shantz empty-netter as the Silvertips defeated the Cougars 4-1. Luke Vlooswyk finished the game with 1 assist, a +1 rating, and 2 SOG.
- (Jan. 10) The road trip continued for the Seattle Thunderbirds as they visited the Calgary Hitmen. In the opening period, the Thunderbirds only registered 4 shots on goal and were fortunate to exit the period still scoreless. In the second period, the Hitmen would get on the board with two powerplay goals and add another two at even-strength to take a 4-0 lead. In the third period, Seattle would tally three goals in the opening 4:24 (Matej Pekar’s 16th, Simon Lovsin’s 11th, and Cameron Schmidt’s 30th) to cut the deficit to 4-3. Alas, it was not to be for the Thunderbirds as the Hitmen would grab an insurance goal at 15:00 and Calgary would defeat Seattle 5-3. Matthew Gard finished the game with 1 assist, a -1 rating, 1 SOG, 2 PIMs, and was 9/21 on draws.

- (Dec. 28) The Quebec Remparts were back in action as they hosted the Gatineau Olympiques. In the first period, the Remparts got their powerplay going to take the 1-0 at 17:57 through Maddox Dagenais’ 13th of the season. Less than two minutes later, a delay of game penalty would cost the Olympiques once more as Nathan Quinn scored his 16th of the season at 19:33 to extend the Remparts lead to 2-0. After no scoring in the second period which saw Gatineau outshoot Quebec, the Remparts would add a shorthanded goal through Mathias Loiselle’s 6th at 10:27. Patrick Denniger would stop all 25 shots he faced in the game and the Quebec Remparts shutout the Gatineau Olympiques 3-0. Quinn finished the game with 1 goal and 1 assist for 2 points, an even rating, 5 SOG, 2 PIMs, and was 8 of 14 on draws. Quinn was also named the Second Star of the game.

- (Dec. 29) The Quebec Remparts continued their homestand as they welcomed the visiting Chicoutimi Sagueneens to the Centre Videotron. In the opening period neither side would open the scoring although the Remparts enjoyed a slight 10-6 edge in shots on goal. In the second period, Chicoutimi would blow the game open with 4 goals on 10 shots (including 2 goals on the powerplay) to take a commanding 4-0 lead. In the third period, the Sagueneens would add another two goals and goaltender Raphael Precourt would stop all 23 shots he faced as the Quebec Remparts were shutout by Chicoutimi 6-0. Nathan Quinn did not dress for the game.
- (Dec. 31) On New Year’s Eve the Quebec Remparts visited the Chicoutimi Sagueneens looking to get revenge in their second game of a home in home set. In the opening period, Chicoutimi dominated the frame by outshooting Quebec 17-5 but the game would remain scoreless. In the second period, the Sagueneens would open the scoring at 2:05 but the Remparts would respond 2:56 later as Nikita Ovcharov tied the game 1-1 with his 11th of the season. In the third period, the Sagueneens would pull away with three even strength goals and add an empty-netter to complete the mini sweep of the Quebec Remparts with a 5-1 victory. Nathan Quinn once again did not dress for the Remparts.
- (Jan. 3) The Quebec Remparts returned home to ring in 2026 with a game against the Drummondville Voltigeurs. There would be no scoring in the opening frame as the Voltigeurs outshot the Remparts 11-7. In the second period, Drummondville would open the scoring at 6:37 but the Remparts would tie the game 1-1 through Nikita Ovcharov’s 12th of the season at 9:25. Drummondville though would strike twice before periods end to take a 3-1 lead into the break. In the third period, Quebec would get powerplay goals from Maddox Dagenais (his 14th at 4:31) and Cal Uens (his 9th at 7:05) to tie the game 3-3. The momentum would continue to swing in favor of the Remparts as Alex Desruisseaux would score his 6th of the season at 13:30 and add an empty net goal from Antoine Dorion as Quebec would defeat Drummondville 5-3. Nathan Quinn did not play for the third consecutive game.
- (Jan. 4) Nathan Quinn returned to the Remparts lineup as Quebec took to the road to face the Drummondville Voltiguers in the second half of a home in home set. In the first period, Drummondville would open the scoring at 6:08 to unleash the bears in their Teddy Toss game but Xavier Lebel would tie the game 1-1 with his 8th of the season at 11:21. In the second period, the Voltiguers would outshoot the Remparts 16-7 and be rewarded with two goals to take a 3-1 lead. In the third period, Quebec would get back on track and tie the game 3-3 with goals by Egan Beveridge (his 3rd at 6:27) and Maddox Dagenais (his 15th at 9:40). The Remparts would then take the lead 4-3 as Quinn would rip a wrist shot home for his 17th of the season at 15:38. Drummondville would come back to tie the game at 19:27 to force overtime, but in the extra frame it was Quinn who was the hero as he scored his second of the game on a sensational individual effort to give the Remparts a 5-4 overtime win. Quinn finished the game with 2 goals and 1 assist for 3 points, a +3 rating, 6 SOG, and was 13 of 19 on faceoffs. Quinn was named the Third Star of the game.

- (Jan. 7) The Quebec Remparts visited the Sherbrooke Phoenix. Neither side would find the back of the net in the opening period which saw the Remparts hold an 8-5 shots advantage. In the second period, Nathan Quinn would stay hot with a goal in his 7th consecutive game as he backhanded home his 19th of the season at 17:55 to give Quebec a 1-0 lead. In the third period, Sherbrooke would score goals at even-strength and on the powerplay to take a 2-1 lead, but Ryan Howard’s 6th of the season at 16:43 would tie the game 2-2 to force overtime. In overtime, the Phoenix would score the winner only 36 seconds in to hand the Remparts a 3-2 overtime loss. Quinn finished the game with 1 goal, a +1 rating, 4 SOG, and was 9/15 on draws.

- (Jan. 9) The Quebec Remparts hosted the Rimouski Oceanic. Quebec would open the scoring at 9:30 with Mavrick Rousseau-Hamel’s 5th of the season, but Rimouski would respond with two goals to take a 2-1 advantage. In the second period, the Oceanic would extend their lead to 3-1 with a penalty shot but Nikita Ovcharov (his 13th at 12:39) and Cal Uens (his 10th at 18:11) tied the game up 3-3. After a scoreless third period, Mathys Dube would score the winner in overtime as the Oceanic defeated the Remparts 4-3. Nathan Quinn fiished the game with no points, a -1 rating, 3 SOG, and was 8/18 on faceoffs.
- (Jan. 10) The Quebec Remparts travelled to Rimouski to face the Oceanic I the back half of their home in home set. The opening period was a goal fest as both sides scored three times including a goal and an assist for Nathan Quinn on a a great individual effort. In the second period, Quinn would score his second of the game (his 21st of the season) as Quebec would take a 6-4 lead into the third period. In the third, Quinn would get a pair of assists I a massive four goal period for the Remparts as Quebec would defeat Rimouski 10-5. Quinn finished the game with 2 goals and 3 assists for 5 points, a +7 rating, 6 SOG, and was 13/20 on faceoffs. Quinn was named the Second Star of the game.

- (Dec. 28) The Windsor Spitfires visited the Flint Firebirds. There was no scoring in the opening period which saw the Firebirds outshot the Spitfires 11-7. In the second period, Conor Walton would open the scoring with his 2nd goal of the season at 3:31 to give Windsor a 1-0 lead. Flint would tie the game at 12:43 but the Spitfires would retake the 2-1 lead as Ethan Belchetz scored his 19th of the season at 18:27. In the third period, Windsor would add some insurance as Beksultan Makysh (his 9th at 8:16) and Belchetz’s second of the game on the powerplay at 15:39 would give the Spitfires a 4-1 win over Flint. Jack Nesbitt finished the game with 2 assists, a +1 rating, 2 SOG, 2 PIMs, and went 11/19 on faceoffs.

- (Dec. 31) In their last game of 2025 the Windsor Spitfires hosted the Saginaw Spirit. The Spitfires would outshoot the Spirit in the opening period 13-8 and took a 1-0 lead through John McLaughlin’s 3rd of the season at 18:55. In the second period, Ethan Belchetz would score his 21st of the season at 11:40 to double Windsor’s advantage. In the third period, Belchetz would score his second of the game at 4:32 right off the faceoff to extend Windsor’s lead to 3-0. Jack Nesbitt would add a powerplay goal for his 11th of the season at 7:45 and would add an assist on an empty net goal to get on the scoresheet in his 150th career OHL game. Caden Harvey would add an empty-netter and Joey Costanzo would stop all 24 shots he faced as the Windsor Spitfires shutout the Saginaw Spirit 6-0. Nesbitt finished the game with 1 goal and 1 assist for 2 points, a +3 rating, 3 SOG, and was 16 of 22 on draws. Nesbitt was named the Third Star of the game.
- (Jan. 2) The Windsor Spitfires opened 2026 with a visit Niagara to take on the IceDogs in the return leg of their home in home set. In the opening period, Windsor would take a 1-0 lead as Jack Nesbitt would assist on Anthony Cristoforo’s 11th of the season at 16:05. Following a scoreless second period, Niagara would tie the game 1-1 with a powerplay goal at 14:18 (with Nesbitt in the penalty box for high-sticking) and would end up forcing the game to overtime. In overtime, Ethan Garden would score the game-winner for the Spitfires at 4:17 as Windsor would defeat the Niagara IceDogs 2-1. Nesbitt finished the game with 1 assist, a +1 rating, 2 SOG, 6 PIMs, and was only 3/11 on draws.
- (Jan. 3) The Windsor Spitfires would continue on the road as they visited the Erie Otters. In the opening period, Windsor would take a 1-0 lead through Caden Harvey’s 5th of the season at 17:23. In the second period, the Spitfires would score 3 goals on 17 shots to take a 4-0 lead through forty minutes. The goals for the Spitfires came from Wyatt Kennedy (his 2nd at 11:35), Ethan Garden (his 10th on the PP at 13:54), and John McLaughlin (his 4th at 16:38). The Otters would score the only goal of the third period to break the shutout bid but it was just a formality as Windsor would defeat Erie 4-1. Jack Nesbitt finished the game with no points, a -1 rating, 1 SOG, and was 11 of 15 on faceoffs.
- (Jan. 8) The Windsor Spitfires returned hoe as they faced the visiting Erie Otters. Erie would open the scoring with a powerplay goal, but the Spitfires would get goals by Carson Woodall (his 9th at 10:14) and Ethan Belchetz (his 23rd at 18:36) to take a 2-1 lead. In the second period, Winsor would strike twice including Jack Nesbitt’s 12th of the season on the powerplay at 6:41 to make it a 4-1 game. Windsor would blow the doors open in the third period with a five goal outburst which included Belchetz completing his hat-trick as the Spitfires pummelled the Otters 9-1. Nesbitt finished the game with 1 goal and 2 assists for 3 points, a +3 rating, 2 SOG, 2 PIMs, and was 10 of 13 on faceoffs.
- (Jan. 10) The Windsor Spitfires visited the state of Michigan as they took on the Saginaw Spirit. In the first period, Windsor was all over Saginaw by outshooting them 11-3 and taking a 1-0 lead through Cade Harvey’s 6th of the season at 8:26. After a scoreless second period, the Spitfires would double their lead as Liam Greentree scored his 17th only 57 seconds into the third. Saginaw would be resilient though and would tie the game 2-2 with goals on the powerplay and at even strength to force overtime. In the extra frame, Saginaw would complete the comeback with a Carson Harmer goal as the Spirit took down the Spitfires 3-2. Jack Nesbitt finished the game with no points, a -1 rating, 2 SOG, 2 PIMs, and was 12 of 16 on draws.
Jett Luchanko #17 (C) – Brantford Bulldogs (OHL)

- (Dec. 28) The Brantford Bulldogs visited the Owen Sound Attack without Jett Luchanko who is participating in the WJHC for Canada. The Attack would outshoot the Bulldogs in all three periods of the game for a total of 33-24 but it was the Bulldogs who would take a 2-0 lead with goals from Marek Vanacker (his 27th at 5:57 of the second period) and Ryder Boulton (12:12 of the third period). Owen Sound would score a powerplay goal late in the game to make it interesting, but the Bulldogs would defeat the Attack 2-1.
- (Dec. 30) The Brantford Bulldogs would return home to take on the Erie Otters without Jett Luchanko. In the opening period, the Otters would strike twice to take a 2-0 lead before Luca Testa would reply with his 10th goal of the season at 11:29. After no scoring in the second period, Testa would score his second goal of the game on the powerplay at 5:35 to tie the game 2-2. But it would be a heartbreaker for Brantford as the Otters would score the winning goal in the final minute of the game as Erie handed the Bulldogs a 3-2 loss.
- (Dec. 31) The Brantford Bulldogs visited the Erie Otters looking for revenge for the second half of their home in home set. In the opening period, the Otters would strike first but the Bulldogs would reply with goals by Owen Protz (his 3rd at 15:41) and Marek Vanacker (his 28th at 19:49) to take a 2-1 lead. In the second period, Brantford would score three goals in the third period at 0:11 (Caleb Malholtra’s 18th), 1:08 (Camron Hankai’s 1st), and 4:11 (Ryder Boulton’s 4th) as the Bulldogs would defeat the Otters 5-2 in their final fame of 2025.
- (Jan. 2) With their first game of 2026, the Brantford Bulldogs visited the Guelph Storm without the services of Jett Luchanko. The first period was a wild one at the Sleeman Centre as a total of seven goals were scored on 27 total shots. The Storm would find themselves up 5-2 with both Bulldogs goals scored by Cooper Dennis (his 19th and 20th of the season). After a scoreless second period, Dennis would complete the hat-trick only 36 seconds into the third period to make the game 5-3. The comeback would fall short however, as Guelph would add an empty-netter to hand Brantford a 6-3 defeat to open 2026.
- (Jan. 7) The Brantford Bulldogs hosted the Niagara IceDogs. In the first period, Niagara would take a 1-0 lead with a powerplay goal at 15:10. In the second period, the Bulldogs would get goals from Dylan Tsherna (his 4th at 4:59) and Vladimir Dravecky (his 6th at 17:09) to take a 2-1 lead after forty minutes. In the third period, Adam Benak would score his 16th on the powerplay only 58 seconds in to add an insurance goal to make it 3-1. The IceDogs would pull to within one at 13:55, but Cooper Dennis’ 22nd of the season at 18:32 would seal a 4-2 win for Brantford over Niagara.
- (Jan. 9) The Brantford Bulldogs visited the London Knights with Jett Luchanko returning to the lineup. In the first period, London would outshoot Brantford 10-7 but the game would remain scoreless. In the second period, Brantford would erupt for four even-strength goals (Marek Vanacker’s 29th, Parker Holmes’ 4th, Adam Jiricek’s 11th, and Caleb Malholtra’s 19th) to take a commanding 4-0 lead. In the third period, London would score a powerplay goal to get on the board but the Bulldogs would defeat the Knights 4-1. Luchanko finished the game with no points, an even rating, 2 SOG, 2 PIMs, and was 9/20 on faceoffs.
