The Flyers Junior Hockey Prospect Report (Jan. 11 – Jan. 30)

Welcome to the 7th edition of The Flyers Junior Hockey Prospect Report for the 2025-2026 season!

This edition for the 2025-2026 season covers the covers the Flyers CHL prospects in the WHL, QMJHL, and OHL from Sunday January 11th – Friday January 30th.

WHL (Western Hockey League) 

Luke Vlooswyk #5 (D) – Everett Silvertips (WHL)

  • (Jan. 11) The Everett Silvertips visited the Prince George Cougars. Although the Silvertips outshot the Cougars 12-7 in the opening period, it was the Cougars that would lead 1-0 with a powerplay goal.  In the second period, Everett continued to pour it on by outshooting Prince George 17-6 and were rewarded with two even strength goals and a powerplay goal to take a 3-1 lead.  Carter Bear led the way with 1 goal and 1 assist in the frame.  A total of six goals were scored in the third period as Prince George would score twice on the powerplay to make it 4-4, but Kayd Ruedig and Jaxsin Vaughan each scored their 12th goals of the season to give the Silvertips a 6-4 win over the Cougars.  Luke Vlooswyk finished the game with no points, a +1 rating, 2 SOG, and 2 PIMs.
  • (Jan. 14) The Everett Silvertips returned home as they took on the Moose Jaw Warriors.  The Warriors would jump out to a 2-0 lead in the opening period before Clarke Schaefer would score his first of the game at 16:01 (8th of the season) to make it 2-1.  Everett would go on to score six consecutive goals throughout the second and third periods to take a 7-2 lead with multi-goal games coming by way of Schaefer (his 8th and 9th) and Rylan Gould (his 11th and 12th).  The Warriors would get a late goal, but Henri Ament would score his 1st of the season to secure a dominating 8-3 victory for Everett over Moose Jaw which saw the Silvertips outshoot the Warriors 62-22.  Luke Vlooswyk finished the game with no points, a +2 rating, and 3 SOG.
  • (Jan. 16) The Everett Silvertips hosted the Spokane Chiefs.  Spokane would score the only goal of the opening period to take a 1-0 lead even though Everett outshot them 12-9.  After no scoring in the second period, Spokane would add three goals in the third period (one on the powerplay with Luke Vlooswyk in the penalty box for Interference) and goaltender Carter Esler would stop all 29 shots he faced in the game as the Chiefs would shutout the Silvertips 4-0.  Vlooswyk finished the game with no points, an even rating, 2 SOG, and 2 PIMs.   
  • (Jan. 17) The Everett Silvertips continued their homestand as they took on the Vancouver Giants.  The Silvertips got the game going right off the hop by peppering 20 shots on the Giants goal and scoring three goals in 4:17 to take a 3-0 lead.  The Giants would get a goal back to make it 3-1 as the Silvertips’ Tarin Smith notched 2 assists.  In the third, Carter Bear would score his 16th of the season at 15:02 to finish the scoring as Everett defeated Vancouver 4-1.  Luke Vlooswyk finished the game with no points, a +2 rating, 2 SOG, ad 2 PIMs.
  • (Jan. 21) The Everett Silvertips continued to enjoy the comforts of home as they took on the Kelowna Rockets.  Kelowna got on the board in the first period and took at 3-0 lead by 14:53 of the second period.  Matias Vanhanen’s 9th of the season at 19:43 got the Silvertips on the board to make it 3-1.  Late goals are a momentum swinger, and Everett scored four goals in the third period (including two by Carter Bear) to complete the comeback and defeat Kelowna 5-3.  Luke Vlooswyk finished the game with no points, an even rating, 0 SOG, and 2 PIMs.
  • (Jan. 23) The Brandon Wheat Kings were the visitors as they took on the Everett Silvertips.  The Silvertips dominated play in the opening two period as they outshot the Wheat Kings 39-9 and took a 3-0 lead with goals from Rylan Gould (his 14th), Zackary Shantz (his 19th), and Matias Vanhanen (his 10th).  In the third period, Brandon would get on the board early but Hunter Rudolph’s 2nd of the season would ice the game as the Silvertips defeated the Wheat Kings 4-1.  Luke Vlooswyk finished the game with no points, a -1 rating, 2 SOG, and 2 PIMs.
  • (Jan. 24) Washington State rivals met as the Seattle Thunderbirds visited the Everett Silvertips.  The opening period had a 19-6 shot advantage for Everett but it was Seattle that opened the scoring on a defensive miscue to take a 1-0 lead.  The Silvertips would tie the game 1-1 though as Jaxsin Vaughan scored his 14th of the season.  After a dominant second period that featured no scoring, the Silvertips would score twice in the third period through Julius Miettien (his 19th) and Jesse Hislop (his 10th) to overpower a two goal game from Seattle’s Sawyer Mayes as the Silvertips defeated the Thunderbirds 3-2.  Luke Vlooswyk fiished the game with no points, a -1 rating, and 1 SOG.
  • (Jan. 30) The Everett Silvertips visited the Spokane Chiefs.  The first period saw no scoring the Chiefs outshot the Silvertips by the slimmest of margins at 11-10.  In the second period, the Silvertips had a more dominant period and capitalized on the powerplay twice with goals by Nolan Chastko (his 7th) and Zackary Shantz (his 20th) to take a 2-0 lead.  Spokane would score a shorthanded goal in the third period, but Jaxsin Vaughan’ 15th provided some insurance and Landon DuPont added a empty-netter as Everett defeated Spokane 4-1.  Luke Vlooswyk finished the game with no points, an even rating, and 1 SOG.     

Matthew Gard #7 (C) – Seattle Thunderbirds (WHL)

  • (Jan. 16) The Seattle Thunderbirds hosted the Moose Jaw Warriors.  After a scoreless opening period, the Warriors would break the ice to open the scoring but Matthew Gard would tie the game 1-1 with his 7th of the season after pouncing on a loose puck in front.  In the third period, Moose Jaw would once again take the lead and once again the Thunderbirds would reply as Cameron Schmidt scored his 31st of the season at 14:17 to send the game into overtime.  In the extra period, Moose Jaw would register the only 2 shots as Pavel McKenzie won the game for the Warriors who took down the Thunderbirds 3-2.  Gard finished the game with 1 goal, an even rating, 4 SOG, 2 PIMs, and was 11 of 19 on faceoffs.  Gard was also named the Second Star of the game.

  • (Jan. 17) The Seattle Thunderbirds continued their homestand as they took on the archrival Portland Winterhawks.  Portland would open the scoring but Seattle would respond with Antonio Martorana’s 18th of the season and Matthew Gard’s 8th of the season on the powerplay to give the Thunderbirds a 2-1 lead.  In the second and third periods, special teams would extend Seattle’s lead to 5-1 as they scored powerplay goals through Noah Kosick (his 11th), Gard (his second of the game), and Sawyer Mayes (a Shorthanded empty net goal).  The Winterhawks would score twice late but it was too late as Seattle defeated Portland 5-3.  Gard finished the game with 2 goals, an even rating, 5 SOG, 2 PIMs, and was 11/24 on draws.  Gard was named the Second Star for the second consecutive game.

  • (Jan. 18) The Seattle Thunderbirds finished off their stretch of three games in three nights with a matinee game on the road versus the Wenatchee Wild.  The opening period went Wenatchee’s way as they scored twice on 17 shots to take a 2-0 lead.  In the second period, Simon Lovsin scored his 12th of the season at 16:31 to cut the Wild’s lead to 2-1.  In the third period, Matthew Gard would register an assist right off the faceoff on Cameron Schmidt’s 32nd of the season only 6 seconds in as the game was all tied up 2-2.  After no more scoring in the third as well as overtime, the game was decided in a shootout with Schmidt providing the only goal as the Seattle Thunderbirds came back to secure a 3-2 win over the Wenatchee Wild.  Gard finished the game with 1 assist, a +1 rating, 4 SOG, 2 PIMs, and was 8 of 18 on faceoffs.

  • (Jan. 23) The Seattle Thunderbirds returned home to face the Kelowna Rockets.  In the opening period, the Rockets would score first but Seattle would respond through Brock England’s 16th of the season to tie the game 1-1.  In the second period, Kelowna would outshoot Seattle 16-7 and would score three even strength goals.  The lone tally for the Thunderbirds came via England’s second goal of the game as the score was 4-2 after forty minutes.  The third period continued to see the play go Kelowna’s way as Tij Iginla scored twice and the Rockets would decisively defeat the Thunderbirds 6-3.  Matthew Gard finished the game with no points, a -1 rating, 3 SOG, and was 9 of 14 on draws.
  • (Jan. 24) The Seattle Thunderbirds took to road as they visited the Everett Silvertips.  Everett would dominate the game in shots on goal 51-20, but midway through the third period the score would be tied 2-2 thanks to two goals by Seattle’s Sawyer Mayes (his 10th and 11th goals of the season).  Only 15 seconds after the Thunderbirds tied the game, the Silvertips would get what tured out to be the winner as Jesse Hislop scored his 10th goal of the season and Everett defeated Seattle by a score of 3-2.  Matthew Gard finished the game with no points, a -1 rating, 0 SOG, 6 PIMs, and was 7/16 on faceoffs.
  • (Jan.27) The Seattle Thunderbirds came back home to take o the Brandon Wheat Kings.  In the opening period, Brandon would take the lead 1:34 in but Matthew Gard would score his 10th goal of the season while on a shorthanded breakaway to tie the game up 1-1.  In the second period, seven goals kept the time-keepers busy as Luke Mistelbacher’s 28th was his second of the game to give the Wheat Kings a 2-1 advantage.  Seattle would then score three goals in 3:03 including Gard’s second of the game to give the Thunderbirds a 4-2 lead.  Both sides would trade powerplay goals and with 13 seconds left in a wild period, Ethan Bibeau would score his 3rd goal of the season to give Seattle a 6-3 lead.  The Thunderbirds would add a Sawyer Mayes empty net goal late in the game as Seattle defeated Brando 7-3.  Gard finished the game with 2 goals, a +2 rating, 4 SOG, 2 PIMs, and was 7 of 16 on draws.

QMJHL (Quebec Major Junior Hockey League)

Nathan Quinn #29 (C) – Quebec Remparts (QMJHL)

  • (Jan. 16) The Quebec Remparts hosted the Baie-Comeau Drakkar.  In the opening period, Xavier Lebel scored his 9th only 1:09 in followed by a powerplay goal 2:31 later by Egan Beveridge’s 7th of the season paced the Remparts to a quick 2-0 lead.  There would be no ore scoring until the third period as Nathan Quinn took the puck on the outside and drove to the net scoring his 22nd of the season.  Patrick Deniger had a quiet night in goal but stopped all 18 shots he faced as the Remparts shutout the Drakkar 3-0.  Quinn finished the game with 1 goal, a +1 rating, 3 SOG, but was only 1/8 on faceoffs.

  • (Jan. 17) The Baie-Comeau Drakkar sought some revenge as they visited the Quebec Remparts for the second night in a row.  After a scoreless first period, the Drakkar struck at even strength and the powerplay to take a 2-0 lead.  In the third period, two more powerplay goals made the score 4-0 before the Remparts finally broke the shutout bid at 17:14 with a powerplay goal of their own through Louis-Thomas Lapointe’s 1st of the season.  Baie-Comeau would add an empty net goal as the Drakkar would beat up on the Remparts 5-1.  Nathan Quinn finished the game with no points, a -2 rating, 7 SOG, and was 12 of 22 at the faceoff dot.
  • (Jan. 21) The Quebec Remparts visited Shawinigan as they took on the Cataractes.  The Cataractes dominated shots in the opening period 16-6 but the game was tied up by the Remparts at 17:05 by Charles-Antoine Dube’s 3rd of the season.  In the second period, Dube would score his second of the game and Xavier Lebel’s 10th of the season would provide some insurance as Quebec went up 3-1 after forty minutes.  The Remparts would add an empty net goal late in the third period as Quebec took down Shawinigan 4-1.  Nathan Quinn finished the game with no points, an even rating, 3 SOG, ad was 8 of 15 on faceoffs.
  • (Jan. 23) The Blainville-Boisbriand Armada were the opponents as they visted the Quebec Remparts.  The Armada would open the scoring, but Nathan Quinn would get a pair of powerplay assists on Maddox Dagenais’ 19th and Egan Beveridge’s 8th as the Remparts took a 2-1 lead.  I the second period, Olivier Lemieux would tie the game 2-2 with his 14th of the season.  I the third period, the Armada’s Vincent Desjardins would score a hat-trick with two powerplay goals and an empty-netter as Blainville-Boisbriand beat Quebec 5-3.  Quinn finished the game with 2 assists, a -1 rating, 5 SOG, and was 8/15 on draws.

  • (Jan. 25)  The Moncton Wildcats were the opponents as they visited the Quebec Remparts.  After a scoreless opening period, the Wildcats struck in the second period with a shorthanded goal and an even strength goal to take a 2-0 lead.  In the third period, Maddox Dagenais converted his 20th of the season on the powerplay to cut the deficit to 2-1.  Moncton though would convert on a powerplay of their own a few minutes later and add another 1:14 after that to take a 4-1 lead.  Nathan Quinn scored his 23rd of the season to give some hope but Moncton would add two empty net goals to had Quebec a 6-2 loss.  Quinn fiished the game with 1 goal and 1 assist for 2 points, a -1 rating, 1 SOG, and was 3 of 9 on faceoffs.
  • (Jan. 28) The Quebec Remparts took the drive to Victoriaville to take on the Tigres.  In the opening period, Charles-Antoine Dube (his 5th Shorthanded) and Thomas Charbonneaeu (his 1st) would score 1:14 apart to give the Remparts a 2-0 lead.  In the second period, Nathan Quinn would score his 24th and 25th goals of the season (including one on a no-look attempt on goal that fortunately snuck through) to give the Remparts a commanding 4-0 lead.  In the third period, the Tigres would score three goals in the first 5:23 but Quinn would cap off a productive night with an assist on Maddox Dagenais’ 21st of the season as Quebec took down Victoriaville 5-3.  Quinn finished the game with 2 goals and 1 assist for 3 points, a +3 rating, 5 SOG, and was 8/18 on draws.  Quinn was named the Second Star of the game.

  • (Jan. 30) The Quebec Remparts visited Blainville-Boisbriand to take on the Armada.  The game was fairly even through the first two periods of play as the Remparts outshot the Armada 17-15 but found themselves trailing 2-0.  In the third period, Blainville-Boisbriand opened the floodgates scoring five goals including a penalty shot and two powerplay goals on only 10 shots.  Goaltender William Lacelle would stop all 32 shots he faced for the shutout as the Armada dismantled the Remparts 7-0.  Nathan Quinn finished the game with no points, a -2 rating, 2 SOG, and was 13 of 22 on faceoffs.  

OHL (Ontario Hockey League)

Jack Nesbitt #71 (C) – Windsor Spitfires (OHL)

  • (Jan. 11) The Windsor Spitfires took on the visiting Brantford Bulldogs.  Windsor would open the scoring with a powerplay goal from Alex Pharand (his 11th) but Brantford would respond with a powerplay goal of their own to tie the game in the final second of the period.  In the middle frame, the Bulldogs would pull ahead but the Spitfires would tie the game with the same powerplay unit through AJ Spellacy’s 10th of the season.  Brantford though would score twice in the remainder of the period to pull ahead 4-2.  In the third period, Nathan Villeneuve would score his 19th of the season to pull Windsor to within one; but the Bulldogs would score three goals to defeat the Spitfires by a score of 7-3.  Jack Nesbitt finished the game with no points, a -1 rating, 2 SOG, 2 PIMs, and was only 6/16 on faceoffs.
  • (Jan. 16) The Windsor Spitfires headed into Pennsylvania as they visited the Erie Otters.  In the opening period, Anthony Cristoforo would score twice for his 12th and 13th goals of the season and Jack Nesbitt would add a primary and a secondary assist on those goals as the Spitfires took a 3-0 lead.  The Otters would score on the powerplay to get o the board and make it 3-1.  After a scoreless second period, the Otters would score a shorthanded goal in the third period; but it would not be enough as the Windsor Spitfires hung on for a 3-2 win.  Nesbitt finished the game with 2 assists, a +2 rating, 2 SOG, and was 9 of 15 on faceoffs.
  • (Jan. 17) The Windsor Spitfires continued on the road as they visited the Brampton Steelheads.  In the opening frame, Windsor would take a 1-0 lead through Liam Greentree’s 18th of the season at 3:08.  In the second period, the Steelheads would respond with a powerplay goal and a shorthanded goal to take a 2-1 lead.  With seconds left, Ethan Belchetz scored his 27th of the season at 19:33 to tie the game 2-2 going into the intermission.  In the third period, the Spitfires would drop the hammer and outshoot the Steelheads 15-3 and scored three goals (one on the powerplay) as Windsor defeated Brampton 5-2.  Jack Nesbitt finished the game with no points, an even rating, 1 SOG, and was 6 of 12 on draws.
  • (Jan. 21) The Windsor Spitfires returned home to take on a big test against the Kitchener Rangers.  Liam Greentree would get the Spitfires o the board only 52 seconds in with his 19th goal of the season.  The Rangers would tie the game up at 6:50 but went into the intermission with only 3 shots on goal and the game tied 1-1.  In the second period, Ethan Belchetz would score on the powerplay to give Windsor a 2-1 lead with his 28th of the season.  In the final frame, Dylan Edwards would score his second goal of the contest to tie the game 2-2 and the game would go into overtime.  In the extra period, Kitchener’s Jack Pridham would notch his 29th as the Rangers would take down the Spitfires 3-2.  Jack Nesbitt finished the game with no points, an even rating, 2 SOG, 4 PIMs, and was 5/11 on draws.
  • (Jan. 23)  The Windsor Spitfires returned home to take on the Flint Firebirds in the first game of a home and home set.  Both teams would trade goals in the opening period as Flint opened the scoring at 4:37 and Anthony Cristoforo tied the game 1-1 with his 14th at 15:29.  In the second period, Ethan Belchetz scored his 29th on the powerplay to give the Spitfires a 2-1 lead.  In the third period, Alex Kostov would score twice for Flint (including a shorthanded goal) and the Firebirds would add an empty-netter to hand the Windsor Spitfires a 4-2 loss.  Jack Nesbitt finished the game with no points, a -1 rating, 4 SOG, and was 7 of 15 on faceoffs.
  • (Jan. 24) The Windsor Spitfires visited the Flint Firebirds in the back half of the home and home.  In the first period there would be no scoring as the Firebirds outshot the Spitfires 11-8.  In the second period, Jakub Fibigr would score his 9th of the season at 14:13 to give Windsor a 1-0 lead.  In the third period, the Firebirds would tie the game at 3:00 but Windsor would get goals from Caden Harvey (his 7th at 4:17), Liam Greentree (his 20th at 18:01 Shorthanded), and an empty-netter by Conor Walton to get revenge on Flint and secure a 4-1 victory.  Jack Nesbitt finished the game with no points, an even rating, 0 SOG, and was 9 of 16 on faceoffs.  Nesbitt also received 7 PIMs including a fighting major and various misconduct penalties in frustration for going pointless in 4-straight games.
  • (Jan. 29) Jack Nesbitt did not play due to illness as the Windsor Spitfires hosted the North Bay Battalion.  Windsor would go into the second intermission up 3-2 with Liam Greentree scoring twice for his 21st and 22nd goals of the season.  In the third period, Caden Harvey would notch his 8th of the season in what turned out to be the game winner as the Windsor Spitfires defeated the North Bay Battalion 4-3.
  • (Jan. 30) Jack Nesbitt once again did not play due to illness as the Windsor Spitfires visited the Kitchener Rangers.  Kitchener would score 4 straight goals (including two on the powerplay) to take a 4-0 lead midway through the game.  Anthony Cristoforo would get Windsor on the board with his 16th on the powerplay at 16:32, but Kitchener would dominate the third period en route to handing the Spitfires a bruising 7-2 defeat.                

Jett Luchanko #17 (C) – Brantford Bulldogs (OHL)

  • (Jan. 11) The Brantford Bulldogs visited the Windsor Spitfires in a battle of Flyers prospects.  In the first period, the Spitfires opened the scoring via the powerplay but the Bulldogs would respond with a powerplay goal of their own in the final second of the period as Jett Luchanko assisted on Caleb Malholtra’s 20th of the season.  In the second period Adam Jiricek (his 12th), Adam Benak (his 17th), and Cooper Dennis (his 23rd) did the damage for Brantford as the Bulldogs took a 4-2 lead.  In the final frame, Benak would complete his hat-trick and Jiricek would add his second of the game on the powerplay as the Bulldogs defeated the Spitfires 7-3.  Luchanko finished the game with 2 assists, a +1 rating, 1 SOG, and was 10 of 15 on draws.

  • (Jan. 16) The Brantford Bulldogs began their stretch of three games in three nights as they hosted the Peterborough Petes.  The Petes came out and dominated the shots in the opening period 13-4 and took a 1-0 lead into the intermission.  After going down 2-0, Jett Luchanko would score his 5th of the season on the powerplay with a wrist shot from the slot to make the deficit 2-1.  In the third period, Adam Benak would score twice (his 20th and 21st) and Charlie Paquette would score his 18th on the powerplay as the Bulldogs defeated the Petes 4-3.  Luchanko finished the game with 1 goal, an even rating, 2 SOG, and was 15/26 on faceoffs.

  • (Jan. 17) The Brantford Bulldogs hosted the Kingston Frontenacs.  In the first period, Brantford took a 2-0 lead with goals by Owen Protz (his 4th) and Caleb Malhotra (his 21st).  Kingston would tie the game 2-2 in the second period, but Parker Holmes would restore the Bulldogs advantage with his 5th of the season.  In the third period, the Bulldogs would ensure victory as Marek Vanacker scored his 30th and Charlie Paquette added an empty-netter as Brantford defeated Kingston 5-2.  Jett Luchanko finished the game with no points, an even rating, 1 SOG, and was 13 of 23 on draws.
  • (Jan. 18) The Brantford Bulldogs finished their three games in three nights with a visit to St. Catherines and game against the Niagara IceDogs.  Niagara would outshoot Brantford 9-6 in the opening period but neither side would get on the scoreboard.  In the second period, the Bulldogs outshot the IceDogs 16-8 but found themselves down 3-1 with their goal coming by way of Parker Holmes 6th of the season.  In the third period, the Bulldogs would get goals from Jake O’Brien (his 12th) and Cooper Dennis (his 24th) to tie the game 3-3 and force overtime.  In the extra period, Brantford could not complete the comeback as Niagara’s Ryan Roobroeck’s 24th of the season was the winner as the IceDogs defeated the Bulldogs 4-3.  Jett Luchanko finished the game with no points, an even rating, 0 SOG, and was 10/17 in the faceoff circle.
  • (Jan. 22) The Branford Bulldogs hit the road as they visited the North Bay Battalion.  In the opening two periods the Battalion had a 27-15 shots advantage and led 3-2 after forty minutes with Jake O’Brien scoring a goal and an assist for the Bulldogs.  In the third period, Brantford would strike twice late in the period through Jake O’Brien’s second of the game (his 14th at 7:20) and Cooper Dennis (his 25th at 18:03) to take a 4-3 lead.  What looked like a great comeback victory turned sour though as North Bay tied the game 4-4 at 19:16 to force overtime. North Bay would complete their own comeback at 4:55 of the extra period to hand Brantford a 5-4 loss.  Jett Luchanko finished the game with no points, a -1 rating, 1 SOG, 2 PIMs, and was 16 of 26 on draws.
  • (Jan. 23) The Brantford Bulldogs visited the Sudbury Wolves as their road trip continued.  In the opening two periods, the Wolves held a 23-18 shot advantage and had a 3-2 advantage with both Bulldogs goals coming by way of Marek Vanacker (his 32nd and 33rd goals of the season).  In the third period, Branford would get goals from Charlie Paquette (his 20th) and Caleb Malhotra (his 22nd) to take a 4-3 lead.  Sudbury would tie the game 4-4 less than two minutes later to force overtime (with Jett Luchako in the penalty box), but the Bulldogs would get the game-winner in the extra frame through Paquette’s second goal of the game as Brantford defeated Sudbury 5-4.  Luchanko finished the game with 1 assist, a +1 rating, 1 SOG, 4 PIMs, and was 14 of 29 on draws.

  • (Jan. 25) The Brantford Bulldogs returned home as they took on the visiting Barrie Colts.  In the opening period, Jett Luchanko would assist on Jake O’Brien’s 15th of the season on the powerplay to give the Bulldogs a 1-0 lead.  In the second period, the Bulldogs would score a second powerplay goal courtesy of Marek Vanacker’s 34th of the season to take a 2-0 lead.  The Colts would get a goal back late in the second period, but in the third it was the Bulldogs doing all the scoring as they scored five goals (including two by Charlie Paquette) as Brantford trounced Barrie 7-1.  At one point, the Colts took   Luchanko finished the game with 1 assist, a +1 rating, 2 SOG, 2 PIMs, and was 12/24 on faceoffs.
  • (Jan. 30) The Brantford Bulldogs concluded the month of January by hosting the Owen Sound Attack.  The Attack would open the scoring at 5:03 of the first period but Marek Vanacker would tie the game up 1-1 with his 35th of the season.  In the second period, Jake O’Brien would score a powerplay goal for his 17th of the season at 14:59 followed up I short order by Nikolas Rossetto’s 3rd at 15:31 as the Bulldogs took a 3-1 lead after forty minutes.  In the third period, O’Brien would score his second of the game to add some insurance as the Bulldogs defeated the Attack 4-1 I a game where Branford dominated the shots on goal 45-22.  Jett Luchanko finished the game with no points, an even rating, 2 SOG, and was 10/19 on draws.
