Philadelphia Flyers: Productive 2024 NHL Trade Deadline Breakdown

The Philadelphia Flyers had a busy trade deadline week under new GM Daniel Briere. They made four moves, adding depth and draft picks. Trading away Sean Walker, acquiring Ryan Johansen and a 2025 first-round pick. Also trading for Erik Johnson to provide experience and stability. Denis Gurianov was added from Nashville for depth. Additionally, they retained salary for a draft pick in the Noah Hanifin deal. Overall, the Flyers made moves to address current needs while considering future needs.
